Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed about the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider position produced for intervention experiences a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SRD SASSA will mobilise much more assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
